Settlement and Fees Policy

Explains settlement timing, Friday/Saturday bKash-Nagad delays, commissions, agent cashout, annual wallet charges and reserve requirements.

Last updated: 28 Aug 2026Applies to: merchants, payment partners and platform users

1. Standard Settlement Schedule

Standard API payment policy: Eligible payments received today are normally settled on the next assigned settlement day after 3:00 PM Bangladesh Time, provided the relevant provider funds have reached REFILLO.

Before settlement, if the same merchant has customer withdrawal obligations, the merchant must provide any required payout support funds through the applicable gateway arrangement. Such temporary support funds are reconciled in subsequent accounting and settlement according to applicable transactions and fees.

2. Friday and Saturday bKash/Nagad Settlement

If provider settlement from bKash/Nagad is not received on Friday or Saturday, eligible funds for that period are settled in the assigned Sunday cycle after provider funds are received. The merchant remains responsible for required withdrawal support funds during this period. If provider funds are also delayed on Sunday, settlement moves to the next available cycle after actual receipt.

3. Commission Structure

ChannelDepositsWithdrawals
Standard Mobile Banking / Bank5%5%
Crypto8%8%
Agent Cashout7% on applicable agent/mobile channels; bank and crypto remain at their assigned gateway rates.

Where a separate written merchant agreement or dashboard assignment specifies another rate, the assigned rate takes precedence.

4. Agent Cashout Process

  1. The agent verifies the withdrawal request and sends funds to the customer.
  2. After sending funds, the correct transaction ID must be submitted to the system.
  3. In this mode, eligible deposit funds may be used or reconciled immediately against pending withdrawals.
  4. No separate advance support balance is required, but the ৳1,000 minimum reserve per wallet and other risk controls remain in effect.

5. Wallet Charges and Reserve

  • Annual charge per wallet: ৳950.
  • Required minimum reserve per wallet: ৳1,000.
  • Standard withdrawals that would reduce the wallet below the reserve are not approved unless otherwise allowed by the system or a written agreement.

6. Settlement Holds or Delays

Provider delays, bank holidays, network incidents, fraud investigations, KYC requirements, legal directions, suspicious transactions or account discrepancies may result in a temporary hold on the affected settlement amount. Reasonable reserves may also be retained while a valid dispute is resolved.
